Instructions for Authors




The European Journal of Transnational Studies (EJOTS) invites the submission of manuscripts. These should have a connection to transnational processes of any kind or deal with country-specific features, ideally in international perspective or comparison. Due to the interdisciplinary focus of the journal, articles on political, economic, social or cultural issues are always welcome.


Manuscript Notes on Design


Working language of the Journal is English as well as German.

The size of the manuscript should not exceed 40,000 characters - including space characters, notes and bibliography (equivalent to ten pages in the Journal).

The summary of the articel must not exceed a length of 800 characters and should be available in English.

Italics are to be used (sparingly) to share.

Font: Book Antiqua, size: 12, Line spacing: single.

Headings: Book Antiqua, size: 14

Citation in the text: (Piore/Sabel 1985: 139).
